Hello friends! Glad you checked in for all things August Rain.

First off, we have some rather sad news with the announcement of the departure of guitarist Paul Kendall from August Rain.

Paul is and continues to be a good friend to all of us and we think of him fondly as we move forward in 2012. We understand and applaud his commitment to an active family and for his involvement in those activities that preclude him from future band scheduling. He was so vital in the formation and emergence of August Rain and we'll sadly miss him as a band mate. His able accompaniment on lead guitar, banjo, and vocals made him a crowd favorite. More than just a fellow musician, Paul's easy going nature and sense of humor was so welcome during rehearsals and road trips. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to Paul for helping us make some great music and memories in our time together. We also extend a special thanks to Kerry and the kids for loaning Paul out to us these past few years. Love you guys!

Now, before everybody starts to panic, we'll be announcing the newest member of August Rain in the next few weeks. We are extremely blessed that the Lord has brought someone into our lives with the ability and spirit of this young man. The guy's been practicing to fill some big shoes, getting familiar with our music and should be a great contribution to the August Rain sound.   Fans, all we can say is...get ready for JGrizz!
